The purpose of the work is to study the complex essence of higher education as an integral part of the anthroposphere (technosphere) to define the main fundamental tasks of innovative academic (university) entrepreneurship to study the main types of innovations initiated by academic capitalism in the higher education system, which can lead to innovative changes and its classification to determine the main objects of innovation activity in the field of higher education and science and expedient directions of further innovative development of higher education in Ukraine to study the types of innovations in the higher education system. In addition, it is suggested that ISE innovation has a strong intangible and non-technological component, mainly in business model innovations, but also in its operating model (based on social inclusion). These determinants are causally associated with different stages of the abovementioned process and with certain attributes of the innovations developed. Based on a case study of a paradigmatic Mexican social organization, we argue that these determinants are divided into: internal (characteristics of the individual entrepreneur and model/strategy of the organization) and external (context/environment). Therefore, the present document aims to contribute to this knowledge specifically, it explores the determinants of the innovative behavior of ISE, during its process of creation and growth, and discusses the nature of such innovations (type, novelty, scope and impact) created throughout that process. The knowledge of the determinants of ISE and the characteristics of the innovations created by them is still limited. Innovative social entrepreneurship (ISE) is a topic of recent interest in research. It is shown how they leverage their power to propel the industry's digitalization and suppress its decarbonization. Empirically, the role of incumbent firms in a traditional automotive industry in Austria is investigated.

To this end, this article examines how incumbents exert their influence through various forms of power as means by which they promote or hinder regional industrial change. Building on systemic perspectives at the intersection of evolutionary economic geography and innovation studies, particular emphasis is placed on incumbent firms' interventions to reconfigure or stabilize their surrounding regional innovation system to support their intentions. Drawing on recent insights from Transition Studies, it is argued that this - hitherto often neglected - actor group plays a crucial role in shaping the pace and direction of regional path development through agency oriented towards both change and maintenance. This article seeks to advance perspectives on powerful incumbent firms in (new) regional industrial path development. This will be useful both for reforming the higher education systems and for universities R&D in Ukraine and other countries.

More over innovations can guarantee financial independence, economic stability and competitiveness for a university development. Thus, innovatics of higher education includes innovative changes in almost all areas of higher education to enhance the quality training of professionals and responsible citizens of the modern community. The main of these activities are: teaching, training and study R&D, engineering, IT and technologies development, projects activity and design creativity financial and economic support of the educational process, R&D, activities development and business expanses inventive and patent-licensing activities, technology transfer, academic/university entrepreneurship cultural and moral development, upbringing of cultural, moral and human values sports, recreational, festive and extracurricular activities including other types of universities activities. Theoretical foundations and practical issues of higher education innovatics include innovative changes in a number of activities.

The authors propose the further development of a new scientific direction in the field of higher education - “innovatics of higher education”. For this, it is necessary to create and implement a scientific and applied system that combines theoretical and practical approaches to the innovative development of higher education. The aim of the article is to further study and determine the innovative directions of the reform of higher education. Most of the innovative changes in higher education in relation to academic capitalism are based on market principles.
